Roofers Union Local 149 Endorses Pamela M. Sossi, Esq. for the 1st House District
Detroit – Another building trade joined the list of organizations backing Pamela Sossi for State Representative in the 1st District on Thursday. The United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers And Allied Workers Local 149 enthusiastically endorsed Sossi. Roofers Union Local 149 represents 800 highly skilled workers in the roofing and waterproofing industry.
“It’s an honor to have these hard working men and women supporting my campaign,” Sossi said. “The building trades in Wayne County are a critical part of our economy and to have them support me and our campaign is truly amazing. I look forward to working with them to bring quality jobs back to the district.”
The 1st District includes the cities of Harper Woods and Grosse Pointe Woods as well as portions of Detroit and Grosse Pointe Shores. The Primary Election is August 2.
